From the First Days of Life: Advanced Neonatology Monitoring Set with UM 300-S
Thanks to UniPort™ technology in the UM 300-S, clinicians can easily add or remove modules to create personalized configurations for anesthesiology, cardiology, hemodynamics, or neonatology — ensuring that every patient, including the smallest newborns, receives accurate, tailored monitoring from the very first days of life. Available with 10″, 15″, or 20″ displays, each UM 300-S model delivers full functionality and reliable performance in transport, intensive care, or operating rooms.
Optimized Monitoring for Newborns
With a new take on modular monitoring and strong clinical expertise, the UM 300-S series offers flexible configurations for any care area, including neonatology. The neonatal package includes ECG, RR, Temp, SpO₂, NIBP, CO₂, EEG/aEEG and other parameters — complemented by built-in OxyCRG and a wide range of accessories, such as newborn-specific sensors, cuffs, and probes, all within the appropriate measurement limits for neonatal patients.
These tools support comprehensive monitoring of newborns’ cardiorespiratory and neurological status — critical for managing fragile patients in the NICU.

OxyCRG: Multi-Parameter Monitoring in One View
OxyCRG is an integrated diagnostic tool that displays trends of oxygen saturation, heart rate, and respiratory rate in a single graph. This combined view allows clinicians to quickly identify patterns related to apnea, bradycardia, and desaturation, supporting early intervention in unstable newborns.
SpO₂ Monitoring Powered by Masimo SET®
UTAS integrates Masimo SET® technology — globally recognized for reliable SpO₂ monitoring even under motion or low perfusion conditions. Neonatal-specific Masimo sensors, gentle for fragile skin, ensure accurate and safe oxygen saturation monitoring during resuscitation and routine care.
aEEG: Neurological Insight at a Glance
The optional EEG module — developed by UTAS in collaboration with neonatal clinicians — enables real-time monitoring of brain activity. The system includes amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG), which compresses and simplifies EEG data for easier pattern recognition.
This feature is particularly valuable for identifying signs of neurological disorders. In many cases, specific aEEG patterns correspond to defined conditions of the central nervous system. Additional trend lines (Impedance, SpO₂, or HR) can be displayed alongside EEG waves, and data is exportable for further review on external applications. A variety of accessories are available: hydrogel, cup, or needle electrodes, allowing adaptation to different clinical contexts.
