VIDEO: UM 300-S — A New Take On Modular Monitors

Currently, the healthcare industry is striving to meet new challenges — challenges which have shifted the focus to patient safety and a new level of medical equipment functionality. Innovative solutions implemented in the UM 300-S patient monitors meet the latest requirements. Therefore, physicians and nurses can rely on these assistants in their daily work.

Full Functionality Regardless Of Size

The UM 300 patient monitor offers full functionality regardless of size (10, 15 or 20 inch).

UM 300-10-S — is a compact, lightweight, still full-featured patient monitor. It is ideal for in-hospital and intra-hospital transportation.
UM 300-15-S — the optimal solution for stationary installation wherever it is needed.
UM 300-20-S — due to its size, this is the best choice for operating rooms where smaller screen size is insufficient.

Continuous patient monitoring for every clinical situation

The basic configuration of the UM 300-S patient monitors includes all channels required by the Standards at Harvard Medical School for anesthesiology.

The basic set includes ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography, non-invasive blood pressure, temperature, heart and respiratory rate.

A New Take On Modular Monitors

The UM 300-S patient monitor is a new type of modular monitor. All measuring modules in our extended set are compactly placed on the back panel (no unhandy consoles), connected via universal UniPort™ connectors, recognized, and visualized automatically. All are compatible with all monitors in the unit.

Developed by UTAS, UniPort™ technology provides simple patient monitor configuration for each case: no more, no less than you need.

Save money by only purchasing the modules you only need.

Extended Measuring Channels Set via UniPort™

The extended set includes 12 lead ECG, Multigas (AAg), depth of anesthesia monitoring (BIS™ channel), invasive blood pressure (up to 4 channels), invasive cardiac output (thermodilution), impedance cardiography (ICG), NMT, and amplitude-integrated EEG.

The same UM 300-S patient monitor can be easily configured for transportation, intensive care unit, or operating room. Even if the situation changes, clinicians can add new channels and start to receive necessary vital data that will enable them to make informed decisions.

You can combine sets for anesthesiology, cardiology, hemodynamic, and neonatology. Or you can create your own configuration to meet your specific needs.

Reliable Monitoring For Confident Decisions

The quality of measurements in the UM 300-S Patient Monitors is guaranteed by UTAS extensive experience in medical equipment development as well as that cooperation with world-leading developers of measuring modules.

All have reached gold standards in their development areas.

Extended Visualization For Convenient Work

With UniScreen™, you can effectively set up monitoring data on the main screen and the additional 22-inch HD display. It’s easy to customize and group the data for each clinical situation.

The additional display does not duplicate information, instead it helps you visualize parameters in the most convenient format. Therefore, you can keep track of the vital data on the additional display and control parameters, settings, events, or trends. You can even work with the anesthesia record on the main screen.

Automated Anesthesia Record

The more accurate the recorded information the greater the likelihood that the care will be tailored to the patient’s specific needs. It is for this reason that we included an automated anesthesia record in UM 300-S Patient Monitors. It allows clinicians to record actual events in the operating room, drugs administration, and the patient’s reactions to them. All related monitoring trends are registered automatically.

The anesthesia card logging should be delegated to the patient monitor, so clinicians can devote more time to the patient and other priorities. Also, it should be noted that automated anesthesia records can be exported as a PDF report.

PDF Reports Generation

With PDF Reports feature in UM 300-S, you can generate reports based on monitoring data, save them to a USB drive or send them to print directly from the patient monitor.

Clinicians can use ready-made reports for detailed analysis, optimize the document flow in the clinic, keep important information in print format, or send data for consultation with colleagues.

Also, clinicians can generate reports on a layout with any healthcare provider’s letterhead.

Seamless monitoring with UNET-S Central Station, and UniViewer remote access solution

Seamless monitoring is a complete cycle of recording, transmission, and data visualization, from the point of care to patient discharge.

UNET-S Central Station consolidates the monitoring information and provides a quick overview or remote view of the patient’s status.

UNET-S Central Station integrates up to 32 monitors in a wireless or wired connection. It provides simple patient database maintenance and integration into Hospital Information Systems.

All parameters are being displayed in real-time mode. Events and alarms are being recorded automatically. Full disclosure – up to 72 hours; trends – up to 720 hours.

Efficiency of the UniViewer remote monitoring

• Data visualization on tablet and smartphone via any browser
• Can reduce viral loads and infection risk for caregivers
• Saves time and increases monitoring by qualified medical personnel in the ICU
• Remote consultation with colleagues
• Reduces alarm fatigue via a notification system found on smartphones

Efficient design and easy to sanitize

With UM 300-S it is easy to observe sanitary standards.

• Due to the fanless technology, neither dust nor infectious agents can penetrate the device.
• Smooth screen occupies 90% of the square front panel.
• There are no connectors or controllers on the front panel, therefore, it makes the disinfection process easier.
• We do not use consoles: the measurement modules are mounted on the special back holder and do not interfere with the sanitation process.
• Effective sanitization is an important factor in the fight against nosocomial infections.

Wide range of mounting options

Various mounting options for UM 300 provide convenient ways to install patient monitors in various clinical applications.

Along with UM 300-S you can get the swivel wall bracket, the bracket for a vertical rack, and the bracket for medical rail. Additionally, the compact UM 300-10-S model has a mount that allows it to be affixed to a patient’s bed.

Finally, UM 300-S patient monitor can be installed on the mobile trolley with the basket for accessories. You can also equip the trolley with a mount for additional display.

We designed all these solutions with a focus on ergonomics, efficient work, and optimal control of monitoring parameters at all stages of treatment.

Choose UM 300-S patient monitor with desired display size and feel free to configure necessary set for a specific clinical application.

Choose high-quality patient monitoring only. Because any other doesn’t make sense.
